I’m a mortgage broker with Mortgage Architects, based in Victoria and working with clients across British Columbia. I see mortgages as more than just a payment you make every month. When structured properly, they can be a powerful part of a long-term financial plan.

In my own life, I’ve implemented The Smith Manoeuvre as part of my personal strategy. Using this approach helped me purchase and later sell a rental property, while also building an investment portfolio aimed at retirement. Because I use this strategy myself, I understand both the opportunities and the risks, and I enjoy helping people see that there may be a better way to build wealth than simply working, paying down a mortgage, and investing whatever is left over.

Family time matters a lot to me. You may see me around Victoria with my wife and our three kids, often at local ice rinks or figure skating competitions. My goal has always been to make every dollar I earn work harder so I can spend more time doing the things that matter most. With a more intentional approach to my finances, I’m able to take time off, travel, and be present for the moments that matter.
